History

From the best we can figure out, the trail was put together back in the 50s or 60s by Boy Scout Troop 288 out of Cincinnati.

The original trail followed along the creek most of the way.  There is a section that needed to be diverted due to the loss of easement and due to uncontrolled dogs.  There is no longer parking available outside the state park at the northern end of the trail either.

We were able to find someone who had a scanned copy of one of the old brochures.  Eventually I hope to find one that has not been marked up.
